The short version: ScanDaddy does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and the app makes no network requests. Your receipts, extracted text, categories, and totals live only on your iPhone. The only personal information Inixio LLC ever receives is what you choose to email us.

The ScanDaddy app is designed so that Inixio cannot see your data. Specifically, the app:
Consistent with Apple's App Store definitions, ScanDaddy's App Privacy label is "Data Not Collected." Data that is processed only on your device is not collected.
ScanDaddy asks for camera access to photograph paper receipts. The system permission text reads: "ScanDaddy uses the camera to scan paper receipts. Photos are processed entirely on your iPhone and never uploaded." Camera frames are analyzed on-device to detect the receipt outline and are never stored or transmitted except as the receipt image you deliberately capture, which is saved only in the app's local storage.
Importing existing receipt photos or PDFs uses Apple's system pickers. The app receives only the specific items you select; it is not granted access to your photo library or files, and it never scans or reads anything you did not choose.
Merchant names, totals, dates, and tax-category suggestions are extracted using Apple's on-device Vision framework and, on supported devices, Apple's on-device Foundation Models. These run entirely on your iPhone. Your receipt images and text are not sent to Inixio, to Apple's servers, or to any third-party AI service.
All app data is stored in the app's private container on your device, protected by iOS's built-in encryption. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, that backup may include ScanDaddy's data; those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy, not by Inixio.
When you export a CSV, PDF, Word document, or ZIP bundle, or create a backup file, the app writes that file and hands it to the iOS share sheet or Files app. Where it goes from there (email, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, your CPA) is entirely your choice. Inixio never receives a copy.
ScanDaddy Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; Inixio never sees your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple provides Inixio with aggregate sales reports that do not identify individual customers. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Because your data exists only on your device, deleting the app deletes all of it. Individual receipts can be moved to the app's Trash and permanently deleted from there. Nothing needs to be requested from us, because we hold nothing.
If you email [email protected], [email protected], or another @scandaddy.app address, we receive your email address, name (if your email client includes it), and whatever you write. We use it only to respond to you and to improve the product. Email is delivered to us through Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in our mailbox. We keep support correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner at any time by emailing [email protected].
The "Get the launch alert" link on our website opens an email to us; by sending it you are asking us to email you when ScanDaddy launches and, occasionally, about product updates. We keep your address only for that purpose, never sell or share it, and every message we send includes a working unsubscribe link and our postal address. Reply "unsubscribe" or email [email protected] and we will remove you within 10 business days.
Our website is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the site — your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps — in server logs, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy and retention rules. We view only aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics (page views and visitor counts by country) provided by Cloudflare; these do not use cookies and do not identify you.
The website sets no cookies, uses no advertising pixels, social-media trackers, session-replay tools, or chat widgets, and embeds no third-party scripts other than fonts served by Google Fonts (which receives the request for the font file and your IP address in the process). Because we do not track visitors, "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to opt out of; we honor them by design.
Inixio does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own use, and does not engage in targeted advertising. The only third parties that process anything on our behalf are our infrastructure providers (Apple for app distribution and payments, Cloudflare for hosting and email routing), each bound by its own privacy commitments.
ScanDaddy is a tax and expense tool intended for adults who operate a business or freelance. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We extend these rights to everyone regardless of location: email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Because we hold no app data, the only records we can act on are emails you have sent us. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Your app data is protected by the same iOS security that protects the rest of your iPhone. We recommend using a device passcode or Face ID, keeping iOS updated, and storing backup files somewhere you trust. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for the security of your device and of any files you export.
Inixio is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., the email you send is processed in the U.S. The app itself processes nothing outside your device wherever you are.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change would ever mean the app starts collecting data, we will say so plainly at the top of this page and update the App Store privacy label before shipping that change.
